Our lighting fixtures are primarily based on two proprietary architectures:
SMT
A commonly used architecture in the market where the LEDs are distributed on an aluminum substrate.
Advantages
Excellent coverage effect.
The distributed LEDs help evenly dissipate heat on the surface area of the aluminum substrate.
Simple structure suitable for wide-angle lighting fixtures.
Disadvantages:
Poor color mixing
Requires excellent optical solutions.
Limited penetration and generally used for lighting with different intensity requirements and less complex penetration fields.
Apollo platform
ZOOX’s self-developed circular integrated LED platform that can integrate up to 42 pieces of 45mil LEDs onto an emitting surface smaller than a 1 yen coin.
Advantages
Excellent color blending, particularly suitable for multi-spectrum combinations.
Outstanding penetration power.
Wide range spectrum and effective chips
Disadvantages:
Require effective heat dissipation
Requires excellent optical solutions.
Require high-tech encapulation
SMT platform
- Shallow reef or fish-only aquarium.
- Low light-demanding plants, vegetables, or plants with very short lighting distances.
- Entry to mid-class lighting fixtures.
Apollo Platform
- Acropora-dominated aquarium.
- Ultra-deep aquarium.
- Complex spectrum design.
- High light-demanding plants, vegetables, or large plants.
